Hello again, 2 times in 1 month with maybe more to come for 2022. This blog will more than likely be written as each as things evolve over the next few weeks before being published.

Received a phone call today from the Modbury Hospital concerning about what I thought was a long forgotten medical issues concerning my Abdominal Hernia. It has been more than 15 years since slipping in the shower, which caused the hernia. After all this time, it has finally arrived I can have the Abdominal muscles repaired. After ringing the hospital to confirm the procedure, an appointment was made for an interview with the Anesthetist at the Lyal McEwen Hospital for Wednesday 22nd of June with the operation being done on the 29th of June at the Modbury hospital.
But first comes everything else
20th June 2022
Not much happening today, have to get up early for Urine and Blood testing. The actual pathology place is just across the road from me so not far to go. The tests are for my doctor who I will be seeing again later this week, which the medical Centre is also in the same group of shops. The bulk of Windsor Village is medical, with the doctor’s surgery, pharmacy, chiropractor, massage shop, hairdresser, pathology, then a dentist and finally a cafe. Sadly, the Medical Centre is up for lease. They are building a new Medical Center about a kilometer away, it is a longer walk, up and down a hill, the Pharmacy I use is moving there next to the new doctor’s surgery. I am awaiting a call from the Royal Adelaide Hospital for a Heart check-up on the 21st of June.
Supplemental: Heard from the Hospital today, looks like a very early morning. My appointment is at 7:30am so looks like I am probably on the top of the list for the day. Time should go quickly as once they sedate me, I will sleep the time away. Reminds me though the last time they did something similar to this was in 2013 when they sedated me to place catheters in the arteries of my heart. I ended waking up in the ICU, hooked to machines after having the Triple Heart Bypass surgery.

What will be a quite early morning, once I get to the RAH, I have to go to the Day Surgery, Technical Suite where the procedures will be done. There are 2 to be done, one is “Right and Left Heart Catheter”, also “Trans-oesophageal Echocardiogram (TOE)”.
